Small tour of the city to discover the Capitol, then the famous Louisiana State University which participates in a very important way in the local economy and on which depends among other things the Rural Life Museum that you will visit. This morning, visit the Frogmore Cotton Plantation, the only remaining cotton plantation, for both a historical and modern tour of the evolution of cotton work from the early 18th century to the present day. Lunch and afterwards, continue to Lafayette. In the afternoon, visit of Lafayette and notably the Cathedral and the Old Oak. Then passage to the Atchafalaya basin.
