Arrival in New York City. Transfer by shuttle (on your own) to your hotel where your guide will be waiting for you to check in. You will be given a subway pass valid for the duration of your stay. Free time for a first personal discovery of the city. Dinner at leisure. Accommodation at the hotel in Manhattan.

Breakfast. Tour of Manhattan. Discover Times Square with its huge illuminated billboards, Grand Central Station, Washington Square Park, the Flatiron Building and Empire State Building. Then head for the Union Square Greenmarket, where you can stroll along the stalls, sample local produce and taste local specialties like a true New Yorker. Visit Greenwich Village along its tree-lined streets, Soho and Chinatown, Manhattan's authentic ethnic enclaves. Finally, a visit to Wall Street in the Financial District.
Lunch in Chinatown. Then discover the Southstreet Seaport Museum, dedicated to NYC's port history.
Time permitting, walk across the famous Brooklyn Bridge, a 19th-century structure that spans the East River and takes you into the Brooklyn district. Take a stroll through the trendy DUMBO district, on the banks of the East River, to photograph the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge, then free time for some vintage shopping opportunities. A few steps away, take in the hip atmosphere of this very artistic city by strolling through the Brooklyn Flea Market, described by the New York Times as “One of the great urban experiences in New York! It's the ideal place to pick up unique and inexpensive local souvenirs.
Return to hotel by subway. Dinner and overnight in Manhattan.

We recommend that you put your MetroCard to good use by heading to Central Park and the beautiful Metropolitan Museum. A walk in Central Park will allow you to discover the green lung of New York while the Metropolitan Museum will amaze you with its impressive collections.

Excursion 1: Walk in Central Park and visit Harlem, where you'll attend a real gospel mass organized by the locals, followed by a soul food brunch.
Return to the hotel on your own using your metro card or :
Excursion 2: Walk around Roosevelt Island and climb to the top of Top of the Rock for an unforgettable view of Manhattan. Return to the hotel on your own using your MetroCard.
For the December 28 tour, a visit to Harlem is guaranteed, but the Gospel mass will not be possible.

Excursion 3: Take the subway to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, New York's - and perhaps America's - best-known monument to the American Dream. Its attraction is hard to resist. Next stop is the Immigrant Museum on Ellis Island, which recounts the harsh realities of the early days in the New World. Nearly 15 million immigrants were welcomed onto American soil between 1890 and 1920. An essential visit to understand part of the history of the American territory.
Lunch at leisure. Return to the hotel on your own, using your metro card.
