After a leisurely breakfast, you will enjoy an extensive city tour and visit the impressive Alaska Native Heritage Center where you will discover more about the history and culture of Alaska. You then leave the city and by motor coach you now travel further to Whittier where you board the ferry that takes you to Valdez. This magnificent boat trip through Prince William Sound brings you close to the immense Columbia Glacier. Sometimes huge chunks of ice float along the shore where groups of seals on rocks enjoy the sun's rays. Lodging in Valdez.

The route to follow today, is the panoramic Richardson Highway, over the impressive Thompson Pass to Glennallen. Once in a while, you pick up a glimpse of the immense Alaska Pipeline and enjoy the spectacular view on the the white snowy mountain tops of the Alaska Range. The day ends in Fairbanks, where you will stay the next two nights.

Today, you enjoy a trip by train in a deluxe dome rail car from Fairbanks to Denali. In the afternoon, you go on an interpretive hike along Otto Lake and afterwards, you enjoy a 'Welcome to Denali' reception at the Denali Discovery Center. Lodging in one of the lodges near the entrance of the park.

Time for some self exploration and then you will enjoy a comprehensive wildlife tour of Denali National Park in the company of an experienced nature guide.
