Continue to the Maligne Lake area for a 3.2km hike (1 1/2h to 2hrs). This hike through spruce and sub-alpine fir trees will lead you to a viewpoint where there is an exhibit on Mary Schäffer, a woman who became famous for her expeditions and exploration in the Canadian Rockies. Picnic lunch (FB) and a beautiful cruise on Maligne Lake where you can admire its crystal clear waters and the famous Spirit Island, one of Canada's most photographed sites. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
