To the north the Smoking Island, with a mountain range full of volcanoes and tropical forests, and the south island, also known as the largest Jade Island. On both islands together graze some 60 million sheep, 15 times more than the total number of inhabitants currently around 4.5 million. They are also sometimes called 'Kiwis' and the population is very attached to nature and is therefore a fan of many outdoor activities. Departure from Brussels with flights according to the chosen airline, in two or three stages. One usually arrives the next day. The hour difference is 10 or 11 hours, according to summer or winter time.
Arrival in Auckland or in Christchurch according to the tour order chosen. Pick up of the rental car and short drive to the hotel. You can also choose to take a shuttle service to the hotel and pick up the car the next day. Driving is on the left. Check-in at the hotel and overnight stay in Auckland.

After breakfast, a first activity: the jump from the very top of the 292 metre high Skyline Tower where you first have a 360° panorama of the city and the bay, and then a jump all the way down. Adrenaline! for the daredevils. Then the road to Rotorua, where the geothermal and Maori culture is everywhere. Excellent mountain bike opportunities and a paradise for the tireless hikers.
En route: visit the Waitomo Caves: on foot or by boat, stroll among the stalactites and experience the magic of millions of glowworms. For the youngsters: fast mud runs! A unique experience.
