You leave the coast behind and travel via the San Barnardino Mountains to Barstow. Just a littel further, you can visit the ghost town of Calico. Afterwards through the Mojave Desert to Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps.

Rise up early and start with a visit to the world famous Hoover Dam. Further via Lake Mead to the impressive Grand Canyon. You might even be on time to see the breathtaking sunset. Lodgings in one of the hotels near the park.

In the morning, you can visit the park for the last time and leave it via Big Oak and Oakdale to San Francisico. In the afternoon, you can discover the interesting city for the first time. Using cable cars is an excellent way to do so. 

Time to discover the city. Not to miss: Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Japanese Teagarden, Union Square, the many and big shopping malls, a boat trip to Alcatraz or Sausolito or just wandering around in the ethic boroughs of the city.

San Francisco

Time for an extended visit. Not to miss: Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Japanese Teagarden, Union Square, many big shopping centers, a boat trip to Alcatraz or Sausolito or just walk around the several different ethnic areas.
