Arrival Calgary

After arrival, pick up the rental car and drive to the hotel booked in downtown Calgary.

Calgary - Canmore

Start the day with visiting the city and enjoy the combination of old and new: Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary, the financial district and the Stampede Domain. Afterwards you drive, via the foothills of the the Rocky Mountains to Canmore for lodgings.

Today will be unforgetable! Follow the Icefield Parkway. The first stop will be the wonderful Lake Louise, overshadowed by Mt. Victoria. Afterwards to Athabesca Glacier, for a drive with a 'Snocoach' (not included). Passing wonderful lakes, impressive waterfalls and eternal glaciers, you will reach Jasper. 

Discover Jasper and the wonderful surroundings. Enjoy a boat trip on the beautiful Malige Lake or participate in one of the many sport activities: biking, hiking, rafting, canoeing, .... or just relax.

Jasper - Prince George

By leaving the province of Alberta, via the Yellowhead Pass, you get an impressie view on Mount Robson, the highest mountain top of the Rockies. You follow the Fraser River, know for spawning salmon in the western direction to Prince George, at the foothills of het Caribou Mountains.

Prince George - Williams Lake

First, you drive to Quesnel, a little loggers town along the Caribou Highway. Just past this town, you leave the highway and drive to the historic Bakersville. Visit the restored gold digger town from 1870, where you will be guided around bt guides in traditional clothes. Back to the hightway and south to Williams Lake for lodgings.

Williams Lake - Kamloops/Lac Le Jeune

Willias Lake is the entrance gate to the prairie and ranch region of British Columbia. The Caribou Hightway brings you via Cache - Creek and via the magnificent valley of the Fraser river to the vibrant Kamloops. This town is a busy commerical center at the moment, a big town, once a known trade market for fur. Lodgings at about 30 km south, near Lac Le Jeune. 

A full day to discover the region and enjoy the many activities near the hotel: hiking, mountainbiking, fishing, rowing, ornithology, ... or enjoyt the beach near the hotel.

Kamloops/Lac Le Jeune - Penticton

Today, you drive futher to the east in the direction of Salmon Arms and Vernon, to feel the atmosphere of the bygone ranches, with a visit to O'Keefe Ranch. Vernon is situated north of the fruitful Okanagan Valley. This region is known for its vineyards, orchards, beaches and recreational options: Enjoy the exceptional sunny climate and that makes it a wonderful place for a relaxing day. 

Many activities on and around the lake will definitely speak to you. Visit ons of the many wine cellars, visit one of the many fruit growers and end the relaxing day in Penticton.

Penticton - Harrison Hot Springs

Today we planned a relaxing drive. The Princeton Highway brings you to the rural nature park of Manning, which offers many hiking trails in the wide mountain pastures and rich fauna and flora. Travel via Hope to Harrison Hot Springs. With its wonderful location at the shores of the lake and surrounded by immense mountains, the city guarantees a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Harrison Hot Springs - Victoria

This morning, you reach the Pacific Ocean and embark the ferry, which brings you to from Tsawwassen to Swartz bay on Vancouver Island (to be paid locally). After disembarkation, you drive to Butchart Gardens to visit the wonderful gardens. To Victoria for lodgings. 

Discover the charm and beauty of this nice city. Visit the Parliament Buildings, Beacon Hill Park, the Inner- and Outer Harbor, the wonderful B.C. Provincial Museum, the histoirc Empress Hotel or take one of the many excursions, suyc as a escorded walk around town, a panoramic flight with a seaplane, ...

Victoria - Tofino

Enjoy a relaxing drive along the Vancouver Island coast line in the direction of Parksville. Along the way, visit the famous totem poles of Duncan and the murals in Chemainus. Follow the beautiful panoramic route nr. 4 at the other side of Vancouver Island, to Tofino at the Pacific Ocean. 

Discover the ridged west coast of Vancouver Island, collect shells on Long Beach, make a boat trip to look for whales and bears, make a walk in the rain forest of the Pacific Rim National Park or plan a relaxing kayak tour through the Clayaquot Sound.

On the way to the ferry, enjoy the superb nature and drive to Nanaimo to embark the ferry (to be paid locally) which brings you yo Horseshoe Bay. After arrival, short drive to Vancouver and lodgings.
