Weather permitting, you'll cross the famous Brooklyn Bridge, a 19th-century structure that spans the East River and leads you into the Brooklyn district. A few steps away, take in the hip atmosphere of this very artistic city as you stroll through the Brooklyn Flea Market, described by the New York Times as "One of the great urban experiences in New York! Breakfast. We start the day with a short walk that leads you to Central Park where you can discover the green lung of New York. Afterwards, departure for Harlem, the capital of the American black world with the district of "Sugar Hill", famous for its magnificent residences built during the golden age of Harlem and the temple of jazz, the famous "Apollo Theater". It is the home of a large part of the black and Hispanic communities, a place of heritage of black American culture, which has been marked by key figures: MalcolmX, Martin Luther King. Admire the gigantic Saint John The Divine Cathedral. Then you will attend a real gospel mass organized by the inhabitants of Harlem. Gospel music in Harlem is characterized by moving songs. The singers will surprise you with the power of their voices and the conviction of their songs, true cries of the heart.
Stay in this atmosphere by enjoying a soul food brunch. At the end of the meal, we take you for a walk on Roosevelt Island. You can discover Freedom Park which offers a beautiful view of the other side of the East River and take a nice stroll out of time and away from the noise of the city. Return to Manhattan by the Roosevelt Island streetcar. This short ten minute ride will offer you breathtaking views of the city! An excursion not to be missed.
A few subway stops away, your guide will take you to Rockfeller Center. You will be given a ticket for the Top of the Rock, allowing you to complete the panorama of Manhattan at the end of the day. Return to the hotel at your leisure, with the help of subway passes or by walking.
Dinner (in FB) and night at the hotel.
For the December 28 tour, the visits of day 3 and 4 will be reversed.

Breakfast. Take the subway to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, the most famous monument in New York, and perhaps even in the United States, that most pleasantly represents the American Dream. It is hard to resist its attraction. Next, you'll stop at the Immigrant Museum on Ellis Island, which traces the harsh realities of the early days in the New World. Nearly 15 million immigrants were welcomed on American soil between 1890 and 1920. An essential visit to understand a part of the history of the American territory.
Back on land to discover the Native Museum of American Indian, a Smithsonian museum dedicated to American Indians, a visit in the continuity of the migratory movements highlighted by that of Ellis Island.
Bus transfer to Chelsea Market for lunch (FB). Then we take you on a tour of the High Line. Built to avoid the increasingly frequent accidents that were occurring in the neighborhood, the High Line is a former railroad line turned urban park. Here, you'll discover magnificent views over the city in a bucolic setting, with coffee breaks and exhibits. You can also catch a glimpse of Days End, a new public sculpture by artist David Hammon, created in collaboration with the Whitney Museum of Art. At the end of the walk, you'll discover the new Hudson Yards and The Vessel, a futuristic construction of intertwined staircases.
Return to the hotel on your own with your MetroCard.
